Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in accordance with local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical details to clients in an understandable manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
