Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and control devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate electrical systems into new builds.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical codes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites across the NYC metro area.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
