Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with national and local codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan installations
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards
- Collaborate with contractors, clients, and team members to complete projects efficiently
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for assigned tasks
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license required (Louisiana state license)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Experience with troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
