Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and material inventory efficiently
- Mentor junior electricians and train apprentices
- Document work completion and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician license (Master/Journeyman preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- OSHA 10-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and smart home systems
