Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and answering client questions.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (State of California) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
