Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized workspaces
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform clean-up duties and debris removal after work shifts
- Read basic blueprints and task instructions from supervisors
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided if not already obtained)
