Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Safely load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision for cutting, measuring, and assembly tasks
- Maintain organized job sites by sorting materials and removing debris
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (will train if not certified)
