Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and basic site preparation
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision (saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Participate in demolition, framing, and finishing tasks as trained
- Complete daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
- Support team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (will provide if not certified)
