Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and waste management at construction sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints under supervision
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (training provided)
- Maintain organized tool sheds and equipment storage areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive training
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA guidelines
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
