Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision (training provided)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform basic trenching, shoveling, and concrete work as needed
- Participate in team projects to meet construction deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust)
- Basic understanding of English for safety communications
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Reliable transportation to job sites
