Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Clean and maintain job sites to meet safety and project standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and protocols
- Support excavation, demolition, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
