Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain safe work areas by following OSHA guidelines
- Perform trenching, excavation support, and debris removal
- Assist with concrete pouring and finishing tasks
- Complete daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train)
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
