Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with site preparation and material handling
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to all safety protocols
- Read basic construction plans and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide full training!
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
