Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Assist skilled tradesmen with layout, measurements, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, and light equipment
- Participate in trenching, excavation, and concrete finishing tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
