Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions precisely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard prevention
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
