Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain safety compliance with OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
