Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and debris removal using hand/power tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Operate basic equipment like shovels, wheelbarrows, and jackhammers
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train on the job!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and varying weather
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
