Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and safety protocols
- Support concrete work, framing, demolition, and finishing operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA standards
- Complete basic documentation and inventory management tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10 certification (will be provided if not already obtained)
