Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, hammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform physical tasks requiring stamina, strength, and attention to detail
- Support team members in achieving daily project milestones
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials preferred
