Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and demolition tasks
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including debris removal and waste management
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to project efficiency goals
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, standing for 8+ hours)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accountability
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Team player with clear communication skills
