Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and basic equipment operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following OSHA protocols
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and instructions to execute assigned tasks accurately
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power tools under supervision
- Support team members with lifting, carrying, and positioning construction materials
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Participate in daily site briefings and communicate progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
