Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and basic power equipment safely
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain clean job sites
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the Wichita area
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
