Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and following safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions for project specifications
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Participate in emergency response drills and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (18+ years old)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily and lift heavy objects
