Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) under supervision
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal to maintain safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow blueprint instructions and supervisor guidance
- Participate in trenching, excavation support, and ground preparation
- Maintain tool inventory and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurement and material counting
