Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
Qualifications
- No formal experience required – entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
