Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up safety barriers
- Handle materials including lumber, concrete, and tools
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers and power saws under supervision
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions from supervisors
- Participate in team lifting and material transport activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
