Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and safety perimeter setup
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and verbal instructions
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and material transport
- Participate in team-based projects with clear communication and collaboration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-sponsored)
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and dependability
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety awareness
- Positive attitude and commitment to learning construction fundamentals
