Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools safely (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws, etc.)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous waste disposal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety instructions
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks under supervision
- Assist with equipment operation (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team
- Prefer 6 months construction-related experience or trade school completion
