Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform physically demanding tasks with proper lifting techniques
- Report safety hazards and maintain compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – entry-level positions welcome
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical work
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
