Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., hammers, saws, drills)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and blueprints
- Participate in erecting structures, setting forms, and installing scaffolding
- Support utility installations (plumbing/electrical rough-ins) as directed
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for application)
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
