Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, demolition, and concrete finishing
- Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution
- Operate power tools and machinery under supervision (training provided)
- Participate in site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—comprehensive training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and commitment to team collaboration
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
