Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and operating basic hand tools
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret simple instructions and blueprints
- Operate light machinery (after training) like forklifts and power tools
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (not required but preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
