Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Perform basic cleanup, debris removal, and job site organization
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workspace
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and manual lifting techniques
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Atlanta metro
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
