Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools safely (hammers, shovels, saws) under supervision
- Clean and organize job sites to maintain OSHA compliance
- Load/un construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate time records and project documentation
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
