Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and carrying materials
- Learn construction fundamentals through on-the-job training
- Complete daily tasks efficiently and report to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and team-oriented attitude
