Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and safety perimeter maintenance
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, levels) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of written instructions and verbal communication
- No prior construction experience necessary
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
