Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools safely (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Load/un construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively
