Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Support skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to comply with safety regulations
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
