- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including mixing concrete, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize construction sites efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials as needed, ensuring accuracy and waste reduction.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and site managers to complete daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn: No prior construction experience is necessary; we teach you everything you need to know.
- Physical stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Basic math skills: Ability to read measurements and understand basic instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid Driver’s License: Preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
