Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Clean and maintain job sites to ensure safety and organization
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents
- Assist in setting up and breaking down temporary structures and equipment
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by the site supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to follow instructions and learn new skills
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
