Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic equipment (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and tools efficiently
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from project managers
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support demolition, excavation, and foundation work as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety procedures without exception
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
