Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision (saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment as needed
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Participate in team projects and communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physical labor (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of English for safety communication
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
