Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards at all job sites
- Use and maintain hand/power tools, meters, and testing equipment
- Perform inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues
- Collaborate with journeyman electricians on complex projects
- Document work orders and maintain clean, organized job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina electrical license within 12 months
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
