Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing wiring, fixtures, and electrical components
- Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes
- Perform diagnostic tests using multimeters and other specialized tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Michigan electrician license within 6 months
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Team player with excellent communication skills
