Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install conduits, wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool management
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills for technical calculations
- Reliable transportation to various job sites across San Jose
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Willingness to pursue state electrician certification through our program
