Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Install wiring, conduits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in job site safety briefings and hazard assessments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina electrical license within 12 months
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
