Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical faults and system diagnostics
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Use hand/power tools and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Document work activities and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in 4-week paid training program covering fundamentals
- Collaborate with senior electricians on residential and commercial projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
