Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols during all projects
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Collaborate with senior electricians to ensure code compliance
- Assist with emergency electrical repairs and storm-related services
- Document work orders and maintain equipment inventory
- Adhere to OSHA and Louisiana electrical safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana electrician apprentice license preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months
