Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida safety regulations
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work progress, materials used, and safety compliance reports
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited electrical trade program OR 1+ years relevant experience
- Valid Florida Electrician Trainee License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and climb ladders/scaffolds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
