Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Prepare work areas and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with journeymen and contractors on residential/commercial projects
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to pursue continuing education for licensing
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders and confined spaces
